Description:

The painting depicts a winter alpine landscape dominated at its center by the Alpspitze mountain, located in the Bavarian Alps in Germany. The rocky massif is rendered through a solid and simplified construction, with sloping planes highlighted by light color fields and cool shadows.
In the foreground, a snow-covered slope is visible, crossed by irregular marks that suggest the movement of the terrain and the play of light on the snow. On the left, several conifer trees emerge, treated with a textured and synthetic brushstroke that introduces a vertical element contrasting with the horizontal layout of the landscape.
The palette is restrained, dominated by blues, grays, and whites, with darker accents in the rocks and foliage. The paint application is thick and clearly visible, with evident brushstrokes that lend rhythm and depth to the surface.
An antique fir wood frame, 7 cm wide, custom-made in our restoration workshop, is available upon request.
