Alex Weise 1883 Odessa – 1960 Munich
From 1909 he studied at the Munich Academy, perfecting his self-taught technique with Angelo Jank.
He finished his studies in Paris with the impressionist Jean Paul Laurens.
He participated in the exhibitions of the Glass Palace in Munich
From 1938-43 he exhibited at the House of German Art in Munich, was a member of the German Artists’ Association and the Munich Artists’ Cooperative.
His favorite subjects are the Alps, in summer and winter. Painter capable of capturing and rendering on canvas the typical light of clear days in the mountains.
