Description:
An exceptional antique painted chest of Tyrolean manufacture, currently arriving at our warehouse. Please contact us for more detailed photos and technical insights.
This antique painted chest is entirely constructed from solid spruce wood, with the date 1857 finely painted on the central section of the facade. The piece features an elegant, linear structural layout with a traditional lift-top lid, resting gracefully on beautifully shaped bracket feet. The outer painted surface is masterfully preserved with its original avio blue tone.
The front facade is divided into two symmetrical rectangular panels, outlined by black frames and highlighted by small red and ochre triangles at the upper corners. Inside each panel, against a soft ivory backdrop, a symmetrical decorative composition emerges from a stylized hilly outline. At the heart of each painted section is a flower vase from which an intricate bouquet of roses, ramages, and delicate blossoms unfolds. Each artwork features a charming bird shown in profile, detailed with a soft pink chest and dark plumage, contributing to the rich, warm, and sophisticated appearance of the piece.

– Exterior finish treated with traditional hand-polished natural beeswax to highlight its unique patina.
