Description:

Antique chest crafted in walnut and oak, featuring truly unusual proportions and shapes: a width of only 88 cm and a bombé front framed by molding, which adds dynamism to the structure. The top lid encloses an interior compartment equipped on the side with a small section featuring a door. The sides are defined by the same moldings as the front and rest on a shaped base with bracket feet. The hardware is complete and original, with a working key included.
Boasting a magnificent, warm patina.

– Structural restoration: restoration of small missing parts, sealing of any cracks on the back panel, consolidation of deteriorated areas, inspection and repair of hardware.
– Thorough anti-woodworm treatment.

– Interior finish with shellac, a natural alcohol-based varnish.
