Description:

Fir wood chest, crafted in the late 18th century.
The structure features a front divided into three framed panels, each decorated with geometric and shaped motifs executed through carving and enriched with painted fillets in dark tones, accented by red chromatic highlights along the uprights and moldings.
The top, hinged at the rear with wrought iron hardware, slightly overhangs the body. The front rests on a shaped base with a curvilinear profile, further adorned with painted scroll motifs integrated into the wooden surface.
The interior is divided by a small lateral partition, intended for separating stored items, following a functional typology widely used in the 18th century. The original hardware includes hand-forged iron hinges and a shaped keyhole escutcheon.
