Description
Beautiful antique wardrobe entirely painted in light blue and finely decorated with floral motifs.
On the door wreaths with bows and apotropaic symbols; on the shoulders rich bouquets of flowers with bows; under the door is the most characteristic panel, depicting a small village. Cornices and grooves decorated with faux marble. The notches have a particular rounded shape and are followed by all orders of frames.
Antique lock of fine workmanship.
Furniture not yet restored, the images show it in the same condition in which we purchased it. The general conditions are however very good, delicate and conservative intervention will be necessary. Below are some specifications.
Information on the restoration
Our laboratory guarantees the conservative restoration of each piece of furniture while respecting its integrity.
Each piece of furniture is treated to guarantee solidity and hygiene.
In particular, the following are carried out:
– structural restoration
– careful anti-woodworm treatment
– cleaning and sanitizing of interiors
– external finish with natural beeswax
– internal finish with shellac (alcohol-based natural paint)
Upon request, we can agree on the desired degree of restoration and the customization of the internal fittings (coat hanger poles, shelves, etc…).
