Painted wardrobe dated 1857
H. 178cm – L. 106cm – P. 50cm
Single door wardrobe, entirely painted blue.
On the door there are two backgrounds depicting cups of flowers on a white background, both with a relief frame and a red passepartout. We find a further frame just below the door, where a light festoon of floral decorations is placed.
A very similar decoration is painted on the parapets, where it forms two columns that meet at the top the upper cornice, decorated with geometric motifs.
The piece of furniture gives as a whole a pleasant richness of details, while remaining essential and balanced.
Original hardware; the flame lock is particularly elegant.
Mobile not yet restored; it is possible to customize the desired degree of restoration and the internal layout, thanks to the intervention of our laboratory.
