Blue Painted Tyrolean Wardrobe
H. 200 cm – L. 125 cm (138 cm to the frames) – P. 44 cm (55 cm to the frames)
Rich Tyrolean wardrobe with two doors, entirely painted in blue.
On the whole surface, both on the front and on the sides, floral motifs are distributed together with ramages. The cornices are decorated with a marbled motif and culminate with a “curl” motif joined in the center by a tassel carved in wood. The stop of the doors is richly carved with a neoclassical motif of finely gilded intertwined reeds; this decoration is also used on the notches.
Inside, there is the original set-up with shelves.
Completely original hardware.
Mobile not yet restored; it is possible to customize the desired degree of restoration and the internal layout, thanks to the intervention of our laboratory.
Tyrol, around 1820.
