Charles Swyncop (Brussels, 1895-1970) was a Belgian painter active during the 20th century. His body of work includes portraits, nudes, interiors, and still lifes. Swyncop participated in national and international exhibitions, maintaining a pictorial language faithful to the Belgian figurative tradition, characterized by bold brushstrokes and a careful attention to the tactile rendering of his subjects.
